To understand a proverb and an enigma, The words of the wise and their riddles.
The fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge, But fools despise wisdom and instruction.
**Lord God, let us not become fools when it comes to understanding Your words to us. May we have teachable spirits, and not stubborn hearts. Help us to grow in Your wisdom and instruction, applying it to our lives day by day.**

The Lord GOD has given Me
The tongue of the learned,
That I should know how to speak
A word in season to him who is weary.
He awakens Me morning by morning,
He awakens My ear
To hear as the learned.
The Lord GOD has opened My ear;
And I was not rebellious,

Heavenly Father I pray that this will be true of all those who carry Your name here on earth. That we may be what You've called us to be in Christ. Salt to give flavor and encourage thirst for Your living waters, and Light to show the way to You, and worthy Ambassadors for Christ that we may everywhere spread the fragrance of Him who loves us and suffered so terribly and died for us to give us eternal life with YOU. Praise Him who is Holy and has the Name above every name, and at the name of JESUS may every knee bow and every tongue confess that He is Lord to Your glory in Christ Jesus I pray. Amen.
