it's been a long weekend here at tw5farms. a weekend that tested each and every member of my family.

tonight i took the advice of one of my most respected friends (thanks kay15), and i took my kids out for icecream.

sorry i'm not around much friends but this has truely been a funny farm in the insane asylum way.

-lets back up to august when my left arm stopped working and i had to go on iv's for the first time . my step dad made sure to tell me more then once that he would rather be dead then go on iv's like i was doing (wasn't that sweet of him). i put my foot down and told everyone here that i was not going to work myself into loss of limb use anymore! my husband promised that he was going to do the milk… Continue

i just wanted to touch base with everyone to let you all know that i haven't forgotten you or thios sight!
it has been crazy around here lately!
first in august i had to go on i.v. steroids due to my m.s. getting worse in my upper body and me loosing the use of my left arm. the steroids worked and my arm is fine so praise God about that!
then my cousin who has become very high maintenance for me came for another visit here. she was here for a week.

school has started for the year!

those of you who have known me for a while know that i home school my little ones (ages 6-6&5). at this age i put alot into teaching hands on. for instance yesterday we walked to the back of the property (followed by geese chickens and turkeys oh and goats and dogs, the ducks didn't want to come lol), while walking we worked on phonics by my picking up or pointing to something like a fern, then asking the boys what sound it starts with, what letter makes tha… Continue

Lazy Son

It was 5:00 a.m and the father went to his son Shawn's bedroom door, knocked and said,
"Son, it's time to get up. Jump in the shower and we've got to leave ASAP to catch any fish."

Soon it was 5:30 and dad had the coffee brewing, the boat hooked up and he just finished
packing the truck, when he noticed Shawn still wasn't up.


Furious the dad pounded on his son's bedroom door a second time and yelled,
